Born in England Ivor Nylander is the Designer/ Tailor for the upcoming Nylander Couture label. He began working in the industry in 1988 after an inspiring meeting with John Galliano whilst still at University. He left Essex for London to gain experience with upcoming designers at that time such as Hussein Chalayan, Robert Cary Williams and Michiko Koshino. In conjunction with this freelancing experience, he undertook a 4-year pupillage at Savile Row under the guidance of Professor Andrew Ramroop, a Master Bespoke Tailor whilst also working at prada.
